PAFNW+ is working to preserve, protect, and revitalize our culture and traditions. Throughout the year, we will organize workshops, webinars, and gatherings.

We have fluent speakers in the Nêhiyawêwin (Cree) and Anihšināpēmowin (Ojibway) languages to teach and pass down their knowledge. This program is open to people of Cree and Ojibway ancestry. Children are welcomed and encouraged to participate.

There are several components in the
Arts and Culture Revitalization Program:

  • Basic Cree and Ojibway Courses
  • Advanced Cree and Ojibway Courses
  • Cree and Ojibway Immersion Workshops
  • Cree and Ojibway Conversations Circles
  • Annual Cree and Ojibway Language Gatherings
  • Language Revitalization Planning
  • Language Digitization

If you have any questions, please email us
or phone our office and ask for the Arts and Culture Revitalization Department
