• There are two $5,000 scholarships for Students entering post-secondary from high school.

  • There are two $5,000 scholarships for Mature Students who have been out of high school for a while and will be entering post-secondary.

  • Eligibility

    Scholarship Applicants must:

  • Be a self-identified First Nations, Inuit, or Métis woman.
  • Be enrolled in full-time studies (generally 3 courses or more) at a recognized post-secondary institution in BC (please supply a letter of acceptance).


  • Application Process

    Scholarship Applicants have two ways to submit their application (for either way, please ensure you have submitted any additional documents to scholarship@pafnw.ca with "2024 Scholarship Application" in the subject line):

  • Online:

    • Submit using our on-line form. (note the declaration of Indigenous Ancestry or Affiliation is included in this form). But remember to email any additional attachments (ie. transcripts, etc.) to us).

  • Additional Required information:

      • For those coming out of high school, please provide two reference letters; (1) from an education representative (teachers, counselor) and (1) from an individual (non-relative) who is familiar with the applicant’s personal character.
      • For high school students a copy of their most recent grades. Unofficial transcripts accepted.
      • For mature students please provide two reference letters; (1) from a professional representative (supervisor, manager) and (1) from an individual (non-relative) who is familiar with the applicant’s personal character.


    Applications must be received in full before May 20, 2024

    If you are successful, payment will be sent via etransfer by: July 17, 2024
